Long story. Brief paragraph. Here goes...I was building a table for shooting stop motion movies. My attempts to figure out the camera mount led me to a local blacksmith named Ray. I went to his shop, hardware in hand, and made precisely what I needed. That feeling hooked me. For two years, until Ray left Atlanta, I came by to pitch in on projects and build a few more of my own. He generously shared his time, tools and expertise with me, and I absorbed it all.
